Chasing 7 Dreams is a non-profit organization building networks of support and advocacy for children, teens, and adults with developmental disabilities.

Our History

How We've Grown

Founded in 2015, Chasing 7 Dreams has provided advocacy for children with developmental disabilities and parent support. Our services include a social recreation program, an inclusive sports program, career opportunities for adults and early intervention for babies 0-4 years old.

2015

Organization Founded

Tenika Doyle founded Chasing 7 Dreams a non profit organization to assist individuals and families with special needs by providing 4 programs. Our logo represents all 4 programs through a charm bracelet. The heart represents love, the puzzle represents autism, the star represent our sports programs, the baby represents infants, the 7 represents completion, while the other 2 charms represents helping women and men by providing mental health services.

2017

E*KAAMP

Our organization began providing children/youth with disabilities the opportunity to experience a summer camp that fosters friendship, compassion, and life skills through therapeutic activities.

2020

Career Connect

Chasing 7 Dreams added a Career Connect program that works to prepare adults with disabilities for employment in their chosen career paths.

2022

Pamper My Baby

Early diagnosis is key to assisting youth and can help parents prepare for developmental issues. Our organization developed a new program for babies to make sure they are making their milestones and provides informational and financial resources for parents by pampering the mind and body.

Our Founder

Tenika Doyle, Founder and Executive Director

A single mom, struggled to find a space where her son with Autism was included and accepted

When searching for a social rec program for her son Elijay, our founder, Tenika Doyle, struggled to find a space where children on the spectrum were included and accepted. During this time, Tenika tapped into her own childhood experiences for ideas on how to best support Elijay and his development. Fondly recalling her church summer camp adventures, Tenika created E*KAAMP, an innovative summer camp for children on the autism spectrum. What started as a one-day event has blossomed into Chasing 7 Dreams, a thriving organization supporting young people with developmental disabilities in Southern California.
